AWFUL SERVICE!!! $1000.00 worth of equipment and wait over 2 hours for them to fix what wasn't working!! Auto start shouldn't make low tire sensor light come on! And someone PLEASE tell me why my check antenna light comes on!!! I may be a woman....but I KNOW this isn't normal and I WILL be concerned about it no matter WHAT the sales person says!!! For those of you who don't want to read, in short, this shop installed my equipment wrong, tried to potentially steal equipment I provided, and would not fix their faulty installation; leaving me to fix it myself! I had a remote starter which by the way was in no means a cheap one it was the number one product they carried was installed on my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 on January 20th 2015, 7 days later I had to take it back because it was starting itself in my driveway when I took it in they said the interface module was not programmed correctly so they fix that, so they said then approximately a week and a half later my 86 year old mother was driving it and had to get a jump because my battery died I called the store told them what h... read more
Chris the older guy behind the counter doing the sales is dishonest, he doesn't do what I paid for and he doesn't give you firm prices so I tried to get the "quality amplifier I wanted he kept trying to sell me an cheap amp at a tremendous markup then when I got my "three" receipts for work the sub and enclosure I thought I was getting I never got cause it wouldn't fit (supposedly) but they supposedly made the closure/box to hold a the sub I was told I was getting j felt ripped off and duped! This store is nothing but a big bait and switch. I went down there in person and asked how much it would really be to put the "$99 installed remote starter". First they tried to steer me up to another brand which ended up being over $300 after I pushed for a price commitment. Then when I pressed for a price on the $99 installation model they finally quoted me $240 and another $40 if I wanted my doors locks to continue to work. Nothing like sitting in a filthy waiting area with a bathroom that hasn't been cleaned in years! When the installation was complete I am only shown the basic features and then told "Don't worry about the other buttons. You don't need to use them. WTH Is it because I am a middle aged woman? I paid a lot of money for a nice system and should have been shown all the features. Not what you assumed I only neded to know.
I Got A Amp And Subwoofer Online And Went To Mickey Shorr To Get Installed...The Guy Got On His Caculator.And Was On It So Long I Thought He Was Doing His Taxes..Then He Quotes Me A Price Of 330$ To Install..He Said There Were 2 Cars In Front Of Me,And It Would Be At Lest A 4 To 6 Hour Wait..So I Left And Called A Friend Who Recommeded This Wheel Shop In Detroit..I Went There..They Started Immediately..1 Hour And A Half They Were Done And Charged Me 125$ Total...Shame On You Mickey (Rip Off ) Shorrs
