We saw Dr. Gayoso when she was practicing at another office. My gut told me there was something more going on with my teen, so we booked an evaluation. Dr. Gayoso took such care in explaining the 14-page diagnosis in a way that was easy to understand. She provided valuable resources she believed would benefit my teen and me as his mother. It’s been 2-1/2 years, and thanks to her, my teen is thriving after a SPCD diagnosis.
I had a horrible experience here. My 9yo son, who is autistic and has PDA (pathological demand avoidance), was really struggling with life and especially with school and needed support. We were told that Dr Gayoso is one of the few US providers that believe in PDA. We were hoping to get professional-level resources and suggestions, especially for school.
