Beware! I had an appointment for Acupuncture with Dr. J... and left with more pain in my leg than I came with. The intake took about 40 minutes, which is not unreasonable to get my information. Subsequently I waited in the examining room for close to 40 minutes and no one came in to let me know that they were running behind or whatever the problem was. I was asked to lay on my stomach while they placed about five or six needles and subsequently turned on the current. I was not given a call button while I was getting the trea... read more

Patient of 2 different doctors there. Both pushed injections nothing eased off. Both became angry with me. There was no bed side consult, After the 1st office visit . No game plan. It seemed to be all about the money. Front staff was rude as hell. And nurses only 1 was nice. I do not recommend anyone to go there.

After going to see a Doctor Lisa P***** for two years, and never having any real conversation with her,out of the blue she just started to verbally attack me about over use of my medication without even checking with the pharmacy witch would have told her exactly how often I was filling my prescription or asking me any questions, and then told me how I had to buy a lock box to keep my meds in, then tried to tell me that no other doctor could wright me prescriptions for things that are not her business because she was not my p... read more

Patient satisfaction is very important to us, thus we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your recent experience. We understand that our medication management policies can seem tedious, but these practices are a vital component to keeping our patients and the public safe. The Opioid crisis in America is something that we take very serious at Michigan Pain Consultants. Devastating consequences of Opioid misuse causing death rose to an all time high over the past couple of years. Our providers and staff are very ... read more

My first visit was an initial consultation, which took about 4 hours total. Dr. J**** told me incorrectly that I had to contact my insurance company to find out how many sessions of physical therapy I would need to complete before I would be eligible for a shot, but he thought it would be 20. Upon calling my insurance company they told me a doctor (the doctor ordering the shot, Dr. J****) would need to provide a number (CPA or ctp or some code that a ley-person would not have access to). They found it was 20. Then they sent... read more
