I saw Dr. Handler several times over the past year for ptosis of my left eye. My lid was very droopy, and I was hoping to have it surgically repaired. The first time I went, he prescribed me drops to lift the lid and told me to follow up in 2 months. At another appointment, he told me to switch contact brands, which I did with no improvement. **BEWARE — I strongly caution anyone considering this practice.** I scheduled an appointment specifically for a **CONSULTATION** regarding a procedure. I had not been seen by this practice, had not been evaluated, and had **not scheduled the procedure itself**. Despite that, the office submitted an authorization request to my insurance for a procedure I had not scheduled.
