I bought a 454 big block from them that they converted to right hand rotation for me. After the break in period the first time I brought the engine up to higher rpms it blew a head gasket. Called MM and they did what they could for me. Turns out that the "mechanic" I hired to set the timing did it wrong. I then hired a different mechanic and he said that the only problem was the timing. He set it properly and it has run fine for 12 seasons.

After speaking with many people, about a bad motor, I was directed to the owner. I could not explain my findings with manufacturing defects due to him talking over me, and yelling at me. So much so, my Secretary could hear him in the other room. I've had this block looked at by 2 different machine shops claiming water isn't escaping certain water passages even after the block was drained.
