I bought a 454 big block from them that they converted to right hand rotation for me. After the break in period the first time I brought the engine up to higher rpms it blew a head gasket. Called MM and they did what they could for me. Turns out that the "mechanic" I hired to set the timing did it wrong. I then hired a different mechanic and he said that the only problem was the timing. He set it properly and it has run fine for 12 seasons.

i bought a crate 350 longblock from them and only got 15 hours it before a headgasket blew. When I notifyed them they said it was my fault. I don't know how, we never went near the heads. I notifyed my Attorney General in Pa. and they would not even talk to them. Shear arrogance of the owner to just hang up on them. They are very polite until you have a problem. Don't think you get a warranty because all you get is harrased and hung up on.

Excellent service! Motor was delivered today and looks like it’s wrapped very secured! Can’t wait to get it in the boat and go for a cruise before winter!!! Thank you Roger A. for the great knowledge and service!

After speaking with many people, about a bad motor, I was directed to the owner. I could not explain my findings with manufacturing defects due to him talking over me, and yelling at me. So much so, my Secretary could hear him in the other room. I've had this block looked at by 2 different machine shops claiming water isn't escaping certain water passages even after the block was drained. Also found blue marker, marked on the water passages where water was holding. I also had my technician, now retired, called in, and asked ... read more

Let’s just say in the 2 years I have owned a boat it has been rather rocky. 2 motors and a few nick nacks later I thought I had it all figured out. Boy was I wrong. Needless to say this is motor number 3 and I think we have a winner. (Should have went this route previously) Thanks to Ethan and Phil for going above and beyond, minus the shipping mishap.
