My experince mimics that of other patients. I found Dr. Fisher dismissive, condescending and lacking any empathy. She continued to tell me that the bleeding I was experiencing after surgury was menstrual. I stated several times I had been in menopause for over 8 years and never once had any bleeding. She shrugged her shoulders and said "you'll be fine." Never went back and would not recommend her.

She is the worst doctor I have encountered at Beaumont. The urology department at Beaumont Royal Oak do not know how to communicate at all with their patients. I am 2 days post surgery and still have no idea about what happened in my surgery or what is next. She spent less than 30 seconds with me where she proceeded to treat me like I was an idiot and not worthy to have a conversation with her. I will be reporting this to Beaumont. Dr. Fischer is an excellent Surgeon and recently I had a very successful surgery with her and Dr. Jay Fisher as a team. Excellent results.
Couldn’t speak more highly of Dr Fischer! Very empathetic, extremely knowledgeable and spent several extra minutes explaining my issues and describing in detail what was needed surgically. Two days now post-op and I am completely satisfied that my quality of life has been exponentially improved! Great doctor; great office staff. My primary care physician also said Dr. Fischer was “the best”!
