I retired there when I was 62 ,I worked there for 20 years , I'm 77 now,if it hasn't changed it was terrible there I can't hear very well nowv& I have copd,& I don't smoke, had to work hard,had to carry heavy buckets of coolant for machines from the dark ages, my back is broken with everything bone to bone, I do love my coworkers sure hope it's different now " praise the Lord," even had Colin cancer prob not associated with this job ??? Working with Dr's. To get better ,good luck to everyone with Blessing,!!
I worked as an header operator for 2 months hands down worst shop I’ve worked at no training the senior Operator seemed to be racist and didn’t want to help his name Glenn Abbott he better pray I don’t catch him outside one day management are pushovers to the guys that been there, they make weird parts with multiple tooling issues… I’d find another shop seriously!
Bad shop, old equipment, and a lot of micromanagers. If you’re a header operator go to amsted auto which is only 5 mins away from here, way better benefits and you get paid weekly instead of biweekly, ATF offers 2% 401k match and no bonuses ever. Amsted matches up to 6% bonuses every November. Frequent raises and HSA account with $500 already in it to use.. come to Amsted ATF is the worst shop in metro Detroit area honestly just go take a look around
