Slow service and not very busy. We had finished our meal and sat for almost 20 minutes before my wife got up and said something. Also took a while to get our food once we ordered. Server was inattentive to our table. Got the scallops special and it was way overpriced. 6 medium sized scallops for $60. We weren't told the price beforehand. Would not have gotten it at that price. Food had a good flavor.
From the Miyagi Oysters, herbed garlic butter Escargot to the Carpaccio with truffle oil and cheese and the Filet Au Poivre et Morilles- everything was perfectly done When the owner starts with high quality meats and produce and the chefs prepare each dish beyond what you thought it could be- you are in bliss We live 3 hours away from you and we will be back. Mario was an exceptional and attentive server. He made the whole experience feel welcoming and seamless, always checking in at the right moments without being intrusive. The food was incredible—the filet mignon with morel sauce and the scallops were truly the best we’ve ever had. Thanks to Mario’s great service and the amazing meal, it turned into a perfect night out with friends. We will most definitely be coming back next time we’re in Sun Valley.
Last night my best friend, her family, and I celebrated our birthdays at this wonderful restaurant, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish.
