I got a small cake for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The cake was decorated beautifully, but it tasted horrible and had an even worse texture. The cake itself was very dry and the icing was hard, way too thick, tasted awful. and was basically inedible. Everyone at the party was disappointed to say the least, and for the price I paid, I was especially disappointed. This tea room is so lovely and was an amazing experience!! We loved the sandwiches, scones, and the millionaire shortbread. Can’t wait to come back!
We came to Texas for the eclipse and stayed with friends in Liberty Hill. Our friends suggested stopping at Michelle's Patisserie on the way back to the airport Wednesday, and we are so glad that we did. The croissants are to die for. We have not had such a delicious treat since we were in Paris over a decade ago. The property is delightful and the little house is so cozy, we could imagine little parties being held here. I first discovered Michelle back in 2016 while searching for a wedding cake vendor. I remember her being very kind and helpful, offering services that made cake delivery far less stressful. At the cake tasting, it was incredibly hard to decide because all of the flavors were absolutely mouthwatering!
