I have been going to PA Wasson since 2017, and from the start I knew she was the doctor for me. Extremely competent, listens, works with me. Keeps in contact via MyChart if I have questions. Follow-ups are super. "Bedside manner" is exceptional, and more importantly I know she cares. I could not ask for better.

Michelle's bedside manner is unlike any other. When she is in the room with you, you know that you matter. She takes the time to listen to you and to your concerns. She makes sure that you are in agreement with whatever is going to happen whether it is lab work, x-rays or something else. She includes you in the plan and genuinely listens to your input. She tries to find ways to get you medications as cheap as possible and is very knowledgable regarding community resources and financial assistance. I trust her more than I've ... read more

Michelle Wasson, CHAPA-C is my provider as well as the provider for my son and my significant other. For the record, she is NOT a nurse practitioner, nor is she a doctor or a physician. She is a PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT. The CHAPA-C actually stands for Certified Child Health Associate Physician Assistant. What this means is that she actually went through extra training/testing for the child health associate piece. I have never dealt with a more incompetent bunch of medical staff. I requested a SIGNED order for bloodwork. The order was faxed without a signature. A nurse's typed name doesn't count. It needs to be a doctor's handwritten signature. The clinic immediately faxed back a request for the doctor’s signature. I also spoke to my nurse on the phone and said that the order needed to re-sent with a signature. Because of this I thought the order would be ready when I went to the clinic two hours later.
