I was beginning to think I was actually cursed with bad haircuts BUT it turns out, I just needed a competent hairstylist! I was looking for a perm and a cut. Something very "FIFA" coded; a tapered fade with a curly/wavy mop top. My hair is on the thinner side with very little volume but I had a vision. I get my hair dyed, cut & highlighted by Janet for the last 6 years. She does a great job on my hair, and is great with longer hair and will not cut it any shorter then you want. I trust her 100% with my hair. She is also very nice and has a great personality. Janet works Thursday-Saturday, but like everyone may take vacation time and change days very very rarely though. Salon Vo is a very clean salon and in a great location everyone there is really nice.

Inexperienced stylists with 1-2 years of experience at most; they’re friendly but don’t really know how to handle your hair, and you end up with the most dissatisfying cuts that make you look extremely awkward in public. Especially charging $200+ for a perm that lasts 2-3 months max (whereas other places can make it last 5-10+ months for the same price), I’m afraid I’ve reached the limits of my patience (been here 3x, same experience every time) and will be looking for another salon.
