I have read several reviews on this site and find my experience with Michelle to be quite the opposite. She has been consistently responsive, an invaluable resource, and one of the most effective counselors I have worked with in supporting my daughter. I do not often leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share that my experience with Michelle has been overwhelmingly positive and does not reflect the concerns expressed by others. I would highly recommend her without hesitation.
I had Michelle Sunny as a therapist from around 2017-2020. Things started off well when I would see her in person but things quickly declined when we switched to phone sessions. I will never forget when I called her and left her a voicemail regarding mental health concerns. I had assumed she would talk to me about this ASAP or at least during out next visit. NOPE. Its been 2 months since I contacted her and she has not provided the service she is supposed to. She seems very biased and condescending while patronizing me. She gave herself 5 stars if that says anything when everyone else thinks she is horrible.
I had an absolutely awful experience with her. She was chosen as a reunification therapist for me and my daughter. It took her over a month to get us into our first appointment. Every time I would ask questions about getting started I would be ignored or responded to with blow offs. Michelle was in the car driving for our first session and didn't seem very interested in what was taking place. I had to ask her to stop driving . She also ended our session after a half hour.
