First time I saw Smothers. I truly liked how she was attentive, seemed caring. She was highly suggested to me. But don't ever "independently research" any of your problems bc you'll be told it's "not that" before two words are out of your mouth. Very well could be true but at least I'm trying to rule out every possibility. I have had to diagnose myself in the past bc another doctor had absolutely no clue. I have been to. Dr. Smothers one time (July 2024) and she was attentive, efficient and caring. Enjoyed her. Was hoping to make her my primary care doctor. I just now called to request some information on a refill of a prescription and was met with a receptionist that was rude, unpleasant and thoroughly unhelpful. I am always particularly kind to front office staff because i know their job can be challenging. This employee was argumentative and short. I found Dr Smothers through the Summer Ave office. I live in Collierville and was happy to have a choice close to home. Upon entering, the front desk staff was friendly (clean offices too). Called back quickly for pre-office info (weight, bp, etc.). This also done by a friendly staff member. Meeting Dr Smothers… First off, only waited approx 5 min. Upon entering she was very pleasant and immediately felt an ease to talk to/share things with. She was thorough in her exam and test/screening suggestions (1st Dr visit in 3 years... read more

Husband and I are both patients of Michelle. We find her to be an excellent NP-knowledgeable. efficient, giving of her time, esay to talk to. Highly recommend.
