Went in for IUD removal. Cried because it hurt. Was made feel like a mental patient. No remorse for the pain or anxiety, no patience, no empathy. I’m absolutely traumatized. Left the room with me sobbing, legs in the air, door open. No remorse, no empathy, no compassion, just cold made me feel humiliated, like the biggest burden. I left with the IUD still in, and have felt immense discomfort since. A completely dehumanizing experience and I am absolutely traumatized.
