I walked in at 10:27 because I went to the wrong building. The front desk manager told me that I was not going to be seen. My appointment was at 10:30. She told me that because I was a new patient, I was supposed to be there thirty minutes early- I told her I can fill out the paperwork quickly. She told me I was being rude and difficult but I did not raise my voice, I teared up because I was embarrassed to be treated like she was treating me. Dr Gainty is a great Dr, I've had very pleasant visits with her. However, there is a woman at the front desk that is very rude and unprofessional to the point that I am now filing a complaint through patient advocacy. Im honestly ready to find a different OB to avoid any more unpleasant interactions with this woman, if the situation cant be remedied. I wouldn't advise anyone to choose this office because id hate for another pregnant woman to leave here as upset as I have twice now, after interacting with this individual.
I’m so disappointed. I waited 4 months for my appt. The weather was bad, traffic was horrible, and I had to park in the outpatient parking lot in order to find a space. I started running in the rain, through the outpatient department over to the professional building. I was 2 minutes past my grace period and I was turned around. The front desk clerk Crystal looked at the time and immediately told me I was late and needed to reschedule. I cried in the parking lot. This was a horrible first experience. I love Dr. Gainty. Her front desk staff was friendly but they gave my sister a very hard time on her first visit . I was so disappointed in her staff. Because I spoke so highly of the staff . I love that Dr. Gainty doesn't rush your visits. She sits and listens to your concerns and answer your questions. No problem in the Pooler office, but I'm very disappointed in the Savannah office staff
