My dad had work injury last month, we went to the place his employer sent us at the next available appointment. and ever since we saw them we have been trying to get an appointment with Dr. Umansky. We finally got an appointment yesterday and had to see the PA (Ms. Derbin). When we went to the people, my dad's employer sent us to, asked him to keep wearing splint and do the hot/cold therapy and gave him pain killers. So, naturally my dad did exactly what they said. I was treated by her on September 28, 2016, at the Lexington Clinic for a sore wrist. She suspects the injury to be de Quervain Syndrome and administered a cortisone-type steroid injection. She seems to be very knowledgeable and was able to explain these types of injuries and the ways in which they are best treated. I would recommend her to anyone with a hand injury. The first doctor that I saw for this problem two weeks ago basically told me that nothing was broken and to go home and take it easy with that arm.
