Dr. Colen is kind and straightforward. She is knowledgeable and efficient. If you are looking for a doctor to sugarcoat things or coddle you this is not the person you want to see. She is by no means rude or mean, but she takes her job seriously and works efficiently. She doesn't seem like the kind of physician to sit by your bedside and hold you hand, but she will be the one working behind the scenes to advocate for your care. Can't never get in to see the doctor. Always get passed around. Always one excuse or another.
I’m very concerned that someone with this dispassionate bedside manner, no eye contact, no handshake, no formal addressing of a patient continues to practice medicine when it’s apparent they’re burnt out. I’m very sad that this Dr is ok with herself for pushing a patients concerns towards “age and no magic pill” and looks at her watch when patient requests continued conversation of voiced concerns. I for one, will not continue with someone like this as my primary physician.
