My husbands PCP referred him to an Endocrinologist 4 years ago. Really terrible experience. I cried after every visit. Nobody should leave a doctor's office like this. Dr. Michelle Anne Kovalaske is extremely dismissive and does not understand Type One Diabetes, or the pumps used to treat it. I was accused of being non-compliant with my Type One Diabetes treatment. This was not a fair statement as I have lived with T1D for over 7 years and I take insulin for every bite of food I put in my mouth, count carbs, always wear my omnipod insulin pump, and my dexcom. Had my first meeting with Michelle and she was great! Compassionate, she was very attentive to detail, she helped me with my issue, was very prompt! Called me same day after my results for the next steps. I recommend :)
