I felt like some of the staff was too busy with other patients to concern themselves with helping me. I know higher priorities exists, but at least take the time to let me know why service is slow. I felt like I was invisible. I had to constantly ask questions balancing not being annoying and advocating for service.

RecommendedI am 68 years old with a 70 year old sister and we are residents of Yonkers. The governor announced on Tuesday, January 12th that people 65 and older were eligible for the COVID19 vaccine. I spent time online trying to book an appointment and was getting very frustrated. My daughter-in-law told me she had heard reports that Montefiore in the Bronx, was taking walk-ins for vaccinations until 11pm. My sister and I got on line outside at about 8:55pm. The telephone service is so bad... you are basically on hold for 30 minutes or more... I was on hold for 1 hour.
