Dr. Bartel is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. I was a patient of his when he practiced in Delaware and if there was any way I could shorten the distance, I’d continue to be his patient. He takes his time and he listens. I had a severe digestive issue after my cancer treatments and he quickly diagnosed the problem. His treatment allowed me to resume a normal life. For this I will be forever grateful.
Dr. Bartel is GI doctor I've ever had! He reviewed my history before our appointment, gave me insight into some additional testing I should consider, and performed the best colonoscopy I've ever had. No soreness in my lower abdomen after his procedure. I recently received a letter from Bayhealth Medical Group stating that he is leaving Bayhealth and I want to know where he is going!!!
I will never go to another GI doctor, ever. He explained everything so it was understood. On the day of my procedure, he was very relaxed and calm, who unlike me, was very nervous. Procedure went as planned, no after effects, and I was done. Extremely happy
Dr. Bartel is an awesome doctor and really cares about his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable in his area of expertise. Our situation was unique, Dr. Bartel works with and in Bayhealth Dover hospital facilities. It's the hospital that puts a shadow on great doctors. With our situation being unique and the hospital's lack of communication from the hospital floor doctors to Dr. Bartel - it caused a severe delay in my husband's health care.
