You can’t beat the team at Michael’s Marine. Being local and multi-generational, they really know Lake George and understand how precious short summer weekends are. Whenever we’ve run into mechanical issues or need quick troubleshooting, Mike and his crew have been responsive, honest, and completely transparent. They diagnose the issue quickly, get the parts needed without hassle and have us back out on the water in no time. Fair pricing, skilled mechanics, and friendly, down to earth service.
Sadly, incapable/refusal to remove a distributor cap to file down points or replace plugs. Time for someone to retire and to find new ownership and/or Harris Bay Yacht Club to partner with a more professional and flexible marina.
Called to see about brining my boat in for repairs and they told me they are at least 3 weeks out. Meanwhile here is an exact quote from their website "You won't get we are two weeks out before we can look at your boat here." No I guess you wont get "we are two weeks out here", just three weeks, lol.
Our family vacations at Lake George every year for week. The first time in 17 years we experienced engine problems with our boat. On a Sunday, Mike Jr. Was able to help us verbally over the phone with some advice and some tuneup parts. When that didn’t solve the issue. They got us in the very next morning and within an hour they had our boat up and running.! So thankful for their knowledgeable and friendly staff. Darren champney
My brand new boat with 2 hours on it broke down on Saturday afternoon of the July 4th holiday weekend. While waiting for the tow boat i began calling Mercury service shops to try to figure out what i was going to do with the boat before making the 3 hour trip home on Sunday. Several places didn't pick up even though it said they were open. I left voice-mails at 3 places and never got a call back. But then i called Michaels.
