From start to finish, I felt heard, cared for, and directed toward solutions that will help me to process a traumatic event that has negatively impacted my life over the course of the last twenty years. The entire staff including the clinical and medical teams, and an extensive group of peers, all contributed to creating the safe and supportive environment necessary for me to be vulnerable, open, and honest. Michael’s House saved my life. The mind, body, spirit approach works because the people here genuinely care. My therapist Vikki and the RCs Mark, Rick, and Joe showed up for me every single day when I didn’t know how to show up for myself.
