Great Experience! – I recently purchased a sofa, dining room table and TV stand from Michaels Fine Furniture. I had been in to the store several times and was amazed by their selection of quality pieces. Once I moved into a new apartment that needed to be furnished, I headed over to the Michaels on 181st Ave. I was greeted by a non-pushy, very personable salesman named Doug who helped me pick out items that would all compliment each other. Not very nice – I was treated a bit rude at Michael's Fine Furniture this weekend. When I explained I was shopping around for a bedroom set, three sale people ganged up telling me I wouldn't find a better deal. I actually did, I bought the same set that day for $400 cheaper and it was delivered for free the same day. In this economy you really can't afford to be rude to customers. Michael's has a great selection, a nice showroom, but the sale people were rude, almost mean towards the end of my visit.
