I have done business with this place for years servicing our whole building. I brought a small job to that took them less than 10 minutes and they charged me 40 bucks, no problem. They did good work. I brought the same job to them today and they wanted to charge me 100 bucks and tried to justify it by saying it would take them no less than 45 minutes. Lieing to justify price gouging is sad. We will be searching for another place to work with.
We had a great experience using Michael's Custom Upolstery for 3 projects. 1. Lexus GX leather carseat was re-covered and expertly installed. 2. A 40 year old office chair with sentimental value was renewed and made to look like new. 3. Two unique ottomans covered in worn vinyl were expertly recovered in leather to match red leather recliners. The were perfectly done and beyond our expectation. Not the cheapest. No rush jobs.
