This salon has a toxic culture n atmosphere! The employees often talk politics loudly n demean clients with opposite or polar views. They vape on sight and when asked about smoking; they deny! The salon is not clean. They r not truthful in general.
I have been with the owner for over 40+ years. If he ever retires, I'm in trouble. He has been good on training new hairstylists, and he has some that have stayed with him for years. He has a loyal following.
The salon is very nice, however Kristen she cut my hair and she cut it so short. The sad part she doesn't let you watch in the mirror. I was so upset when I left there. It looks like she put a bowl on my head.
Mike has been cutting, and at times coloring my hair for several years. He's an excellent stylist! He keeps up with the latest color and cut trends. He will LISTEN and discuss with you what you're wanting. He's also just a very nice person, as well as the other stylists. I'm dreading the day he retires, lol.
Great experience! Just moved to Hamilton and this place was amazing. Staff made me feel comfortable, shared thoughtful, professional suggestions for my hair color/cut based on what I wanted. Very friendly atmosphere, loved it!
