My wife’s pacemaker surgery was supposed to be a simple outpatient procedure. One of the wires came loose from her heart and caused her blood pressure to drop to 50/30. She had to have emergency surgery to insert a drain line to remove the leaking blood around her heart. She suffered great pain that night and spent 4 days in ICU.
