My pre-teen daughter has been a patient of Dr. Wein for over a year now. Seemingly allergic to a laundry list of things, she has gone from twice weekly shots, to once weekly shots. Pretty soon it will be every other week. I've never had a problem or issue at the doctor's office. Dr. Wein and his entire staff have always been caring, polite and professional. I contacted Dr. Wein when training for a half marathon and feeling breathless at mile eight. It turns out I was an undiagnosed asthmatic. He performed a lung function study and put me on medication that significantly helped. He was the first doctor that actually found out what was wrong with me and why I was having that problem. Other doctors had dismissed me.
After checking no less than 5 times on the cost and being informed it was covered by insurance and my out of pocket cost was 0, I was personally charged over $1200 for two visits and allergy skin testing. The second visit was scheduled based on the 0 cost to me, and then I was informed AFTER that visit occurred. What was recorded as the results of that testing in my records was NOT complete.
