I made an appointment through their website and it said they accepted my insurance plan. When I arrived, they didn’t accept it, even after I had waited and paid to get there, and after the website had confirmed that they took my plan. I was very sick and needed a doctor right away. The second time I went, I went to urgent care. They treated me, accepted my insurance plan, and gave me the medications. I left without paying because they told me everything was covered. They don't care. They missed a cyst in my brain and a while bunch on my ovaries. Too many of employees are on their cell phones rather than helping patients. They don't care; they really dont.

BEWARE !! ZERO STARS, in November my physician gave me an order for an x-ray. I walked in and asked the office how much would the service be if I paid cash. They looked at a sheet and told me it would be $61.54. I paid at the time of service and received the service and went home. About 2-3 weeks later I received a bill for $12.24. This office has the nerve to bill a cash pay patient after the fact for more money. Been trying to call Dr. Coleman for weeks and nobody’s answering the phone. Nobody calls you back. Believe it or not I got the calls recorded for the proof and the system is not even set up half the time and it rings and rings and rings about 20 times until it throws you off the system. They’re trying to figure out if my mother who is 83 has an appointment who has dementia but yet I can’t get any help from these jokers. I went to AventHealth Daytona ER. I was in and out in 20 minutes, just shows you what a minor issue it was. In those 20 minutes I saw the physician assist, she looked at my issue said the bleeding had stopped and she would put a steristrip on it. Dr. Andrew Arteaga DO came and spoke with me for about 3 minutes. Before leaving I spoke with the case manager....she told me my bill would be $165. I said fine, paid...left. That's really zero stars. The day before Thanksgiving, I went to the HM ER around 2:00pm. I had excruciating pain in my lower back and abdomen, and my blood pressure was 234/124. I was taken to a room in the ER, and someone came to get me for a CT Scan of my abdomen. The person who came to transport me saw my blood pressure and questioned multiple times whether it was safe to take me back. Would rate zero stars if possible. The ER staff there is terrible, no professionalism. While leaving the room the doctor asked my wife is there was a problem. She told him that I had sat in the ER room for an hour and a half and not once did anyone check on me. The blood pressure cuff fell off, alarms going off. No one came. Wife noticed nurses at desk texting on cell phones. She told the doctor this, he became very defensive and condescending. Saying she should walk a mile in his shoes and that there are way more critical p... read more
