I called Monday, scheduling was into June. There was a cancellation so I was able to get in early. Was very pleased. I had an excellent experience.
Takes time with you and explains completely. Has time to answer all your questions. Just a great doctor!
Excellent doctor and several in extended family have seen him. Has even been know to call after hours to check on how a recent patient is doing etc. Easy to talk to, up on latest recommendations and protocols etc. Helpful with insurance coverage needs and what meds are likely to be covered, where to go for others that might cost more otherwise etc. Friendly and caring staff.
I've never felt so great full to have a doctor. Dr McAvoy is the best. To have someone on your side and go out of the way to make sure he calls personally walk you though your care is just awesome.
