My endoscopy with Dr Sprang went well. He was very patient and understanding; explaining everything that would happen along the way and answering all my 100 questions. I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend.
I went to Dr. Sprang for a colonoscopy. Specifically, I was prescribed a colonoscopy before the official guidelines due to a family history of colon cancer. The procedure itself was fine; I woke up briefly and experienced some discomfort, but altogether it wasn't a big deal. However, my insurance refused to cover the procedure, saying that Dr. Sprang's office had coded the procedure incorrectly. Dr. Sprang and the nursing team made getting a colonoscopy an empathetic and informed experience. Their bedside manner was unhurried which is rare in a time of insurance imposed timeframes. The conversation struck the perfect balance between imparting information and putting the patient at ease. I was grateful for the explanation of the entire process, not just the procedure itself.
