He is a small, tiny little man with a Napolean complex and zero bedside manner. He pushed 2x on my stomach, told me I was fat and a candidate for lap band/gastric sleeve and to schedule with the front desk. Mind you, my P.A. referred me for diabetes mgmnt. Never ever, ever, ever go to him.
I was Looking for an endocrinologist for my husband, but after reading these reviews, I will totally pass. All the reviews say the Dr is wonderful, but the staff is not. Thanks for the honesty. I’ll be looking elsewhere.
I like Dr. Sokol and feel I get good care from him. The office staff; however, are horrible. If you ever need assistance outside of an appointment, they will not be helpful. They do not return phone calls or answer portal messages in any sense of a timely manner (5-11 days later maybe, if at all). I have struggled since February to get prior authorizations done, and am still not on the proper prescribed medications because my insurance will not approve them without info from the doctor's office.
