Sunday- supposed to be open until 3pm. I drive 1.5 hours from out of town and called on the way to let them know I was coming AND made sure they had my insurance information. I arrived at 2:32pm. They locked the doors at 2:30pm and when I called and spoke to the staff as I was trying to get in the locked doors, they refused to open them and let me in. Not caring professionals in my opinion.
Very friendly staff, but wait times are too long. I made an actual appointment twice and had two wait several hours after appointment time to time to be seen. Don't take appointments if you cannot be somewhat timely.
Had a mrsa infection misdiagnosed on Mon. By Wed could hardly walk. Went after work and was seen immediately. Put on antibiotics and the site drained and cultured. If I had waited, would have been hospitalized.
I am one who usually never goes to urgent care because I have a great family doctor. It was a Sunday and I was feeling pretty bad. It was the worst decision and waste of money. First off, my bp was really high and nurse didn't seem to be concerned. 159/94 when my norm is 122/72. Then rather than a doctor I had to see a nurse practitioner. Dr. Blank is nice personable and very knowledgable. He goes beyond to make sure his patients are well taken care of.
Doctor Keller is a very nice gentle guy. He listens to your problem, then talks about what we should do and what we would like to do.
