I made an appointment via Zocdoc because I had a cold and wanted to be seen as soon as possible. I received a call from the office an hour before the appointment telling me I needed to go see my primary care physician. I told them my primary doctor didn’t have availability for weeks, that’s why I was trying to see Dr. Lowenthal. I was told they “don’t do that” because I wouldn’t come back to Dr. Lowenthal for follow-ups. I don’t understand why they are on Zocdoc if that is their policy. It’s also a terrible business model. Dr. Lowenthal is a mediocre doctor, Katie is PA runs the show. The office is terribly run, and it’s not worth the headache. I recently showed up for an appointment and they said he isn’t in. No calls or voicemails to let me know. The morning of MyChart said I had an appointment and I checked in online for the receptionist to tell me he is out of office. Never had a good experience with the team. Couldn’t recommend less
Dr. Michael Lowenthal is the most wonderful and caring doctor. He listens and doesn't rush you. He's always so caring and finds the best options for my healthcare problems. I always feel safe in his care. His staff is also wonderful especially Cindy. Thank you so much doctor! Irene and Rodney.
