I learned of a lawsuit against me by an attorney for an outstanding debt. I contacted the Cleveland law firm and discussed my case with Michael Cleveland. He described different approaches to addressing the case each with a different fee arrangement. As he learned more details about the case he advised me to try to settle the case amicably. There was no financial incentive for him to offer this advice as he would earn no fees, since I would be settling the case myself directly with the creditor.
