My husband stayed at this company owner's furnished rental on Furnished Finders from Sept 15–30. The lease provided was incomplete and unsigned, so notice and renewal terms were not formally agreed to. He moved out on the agreed date and documented the unit’s condition with timestamped photos and video showing it was clean and undamaged. The landlord later withheld our $1,200 security deposit, citing a 30-day notice that was not required under Virginia Code §55.1-1226.
