I have very high expectations of my medical care providers, and Dr. Michael Reader truly delivered. He is a skilled surgeon and a professional physician who was kind and understanding. I had a very complex ventral hernia, and I sought him out for his expertise in laproscopic, robotic-assisted hernia repair. I had one of the worst experiences. I was referred to him because of my failed hernia mesh. Horrible bed side manners and his office manager was rude and hateful. There is no worst feeling than being made to feel as if you do not matter.

Dr. Michael Reader's surgical skill is state of the art and his beside manner is exceptional. He's kind, compassionate and a great patient/family educator. I highly recommend this physician to anyone needing hernia repair. Thank you for a great experience!

Tried to contact the physician later that night and a few days later to discuss constipation concerns three days after surgery and they operator paged him for four hours that evening. He never returned the call. One of his residents called back and offered that I drive to a pharmacy to try over the counter medicine no more than five or six hours after surgery. Post operative care he was completely dismis... read more
