Dr. Michael Raber performed surgery on my L4-L5 on January 23rd, 2024. He is truly one of the finest and most caring doctors I’ve had the pleasure to interact with. Dr.Raber operated on my husband two times, both back surgeries succeeding in alleviating extreme pain due to his military service. Dr. Raber began explaining to my husband the lower back spine issues using the results of MRI images. The images revealed disc damage & crumbling low back discs. The first operation relieved some of the pain, another operation helped. My husband was not a candidate for back fusion due to existing health issues & age. Dr Raber was my Neurosurgeon for my neck directory surgery in 2019. I was sorry to discover he had relocated to Northern Idaho when calling today to book an appointment. I am needing another surgery for a lower back bulging disk. I was wanting him to be my surgeon again. He was very professional and thorough in explaining his proceedures. He will be missed.
