My husband has spent the last year fighting cancer. Three weeks ago he experienced what we thought was a stroke. As it turned out, it was a brain tumor. We came to Kootenai Hospital emergency room where by chance the on call surgeon was Dr. Raber. He confirmed a diagnosis from another hospital, and scheduled surgery for the next day. Dr Raber's credentials inspire trust. He tries to keep surgeries minimally invasive but effective. Had fusion revision and later a laminectomy with positive outcomes. Highly recommend Dr Raber
He messed up my first surgery then ignored me for weeks when I said something was wrong. Finally a few weeks after my surgery I got in to see him and it wasn’t even him but his helper. She ordered an MRI and it showed that he left a piece of my disc flapping around inside me. 4 weeks after my first surgery I was scheduled for a revision. 10 minutes before surgery I finally get to see him after weeks of agonizing pain.
