Dr. Warner literally saved my life. I have had over 10 surgeries for TMJ and in 1994, went to Scott White in Temple, TX. After several surgeries, he finally did a total jaw replacement, both sides. I had suffered tremendous pain for over 18 years. Since the replacement in 1998, I have occasional headaches, swelling and pain in both jaws, but VERY mild, considering what I went through. Dr. Michael Warner is an excellent OMS Surgeon. He is caring, kind and explains the procedures so the patient can understand the process. I highly recommend him.
Medical practices are wonderful but the billing and financial department is less to be desired. I am working on getting reimbursed from a surgery that dates back to August 2019, and it's December. Still no resolution. The provider was verified through insurance as in network. Procedure was pre-approved. Only to have the provider four months after surgery claim that they thought they had cancelled their contract with the insurance provider and did not. They are refusing to honor the in-network rates. He tries to find the best options for each patient. Very compassionate, caring, trustworthy
Incredibly arrogant and unethical. Claims to be The only doctor in 100mi radius that does TMJ surgery, so basically I have no choice to pay out of pocket. Then the DAY BEFORE surgery I find out there's someone in DFW who does the exact same surgery and is covered in my plan. When I asked Warner about him, he said yes he recommends him if I want to change. I had to get a $5,000 refund and start the procedure ALL OVER with a brand new doctor. No explanation from Warner.
