I was diagnosed with a hernia 6 weeks after my 3rd c-section. I saw a local surgeon who said he would do my surgery laparoscopic, but then wrote on my paperwork “possible open”. Red flag!!! When I had my 2nd opinion with Dr. Gonzales Ramos he told me it’s near impossible to operate a ventral hernia laparoscopic. But that he has used a Davinci Machine, Robotic Surgery to operate.
