I really love Dr. Papper! He really does take the time to listen, especially to someone like me who has a very rare medical condition that can cause gastrointestinal issues. In fact, you could tell he knew exactly what I was talking about when most other doctors look completely perplexed or completely blow me off because they don’t wanna deal with somebody with a chronic medical condition that is rare. I went off of the reviews, which sadly are so fake anymore you never know what to believe. Here is my experience with Dr. Papper. He is DEFINITELY one of the specialists that starts things conservatively. After a month of this and getting worse, he finally decided to do a colonoscopy. I do like that he gave results when I woke up so I didn't have to wait. According to him, nothing of note was found. My issues persisted. Dr papper is good but his office admin terrible. I moved so tried to find a gastro dr closer to lakewood ranch. The dr I chose needed a transfer of care letter. I kept calling new Dr who kept telling me they had not yet received this from Dr papper. Then new Dr told me my new choice was no longer taking new patients. So I decided to just make an appt with Dr papper. I did and drove all the way to him- checked in and paid my copay. Dr. Papper is very personable, listens to concerns and answers questions with easy to understand answers. He has a great way of easing ones anxiety and has a very professional bedside manner. As a new patient, I was anxious about a new physician however, I would definitely recommend him and his staff and will keep them in mind for future needs.
