Dr. Monohan is a pretty good listener and doesn't rush through his appointments. He has a full spectrum approach to health when it comes to vitamins, exercise, medication, prevention and treatment. Being a D.O. he also seems more knowledgeable than most family physicians about the interconnectedness of bones, muscles, tendons, etc.
Dr Monohan is always helpful and professional!! Friendly staff!
I went in for an annual check up as well as shoulder pain. I received Arthrocentesis for the shoulder. The treatment seems standard enough and effecetive especially for TMJ, but it didn't work for my shoulder pain. I was charged $113 for the injection, which is crazy but thats an insurance issue and not the doctor's fault but he also charged $138 for an additional office visit. I was already at the office for my annual physical. I hope the $138 was worth it Dr. Monohan, I'm finding a new doctor.
I went to Dr. Monohan andhe had put me on a medication. A couple months after taking the medication I went back with certain issues that were side affects of the medication. Instead of paying attention to those side affects, they put me on a different medication to reduce just a couple of the side affects. I definitely do not recommend this doctor.
