Very surprised that it wasn't a better meal and most of the issue is the seafood tower is just awful. We even added crab and it was average. I have had better seafood towers in basic restaurants. Just brutally bad Moving on the sea bass was excellent and if you eat there, get the lemon dessert. One of the best I have ever had
My girlfriend and I came to Michael Mina's for our 5 year anniversary, and were promptly seated after we arrived. We were seated quickly and began taking everything in, as this was our first time dinning here. Our host quickly came by and happily greeted and welcomed us, while also congratulating us on our anniversary. This is my second visit to this amazing restaurant. I was apprehensive if they could match my first amazing experience here. Let me explicitly state that my expectations were not met, they were surpassed! The Caviar Parfait never disappoints. The trio of duck was beyond phenomenal. And the service here is exemplary . Alex was professional, courteous and attentive. Kudos Alex for making the dinner even more amazing!
My husband and I had such an amazing dining experience at Michael Mina. We really indulged and don't regret a single bite (or dollar!), because every dish was unique, high quality and came with a story. Chef Michael was even in the restaurant that night, and it was so cool to watch him work. If you're planning a special evening while you're in Vegas, this is 12/10 the place.
I was looking forward to trying this restaurant mainly the dishes with seared foie gras since there are not that many that serve them in Vegas. I had the duo of foie gras tart and seared for appetizer. The tart was uneventful so was the seared which needed a fruit or something to accompany. Got the duck to get another try at the seared foie gras. The duck was bland and chewy. Why put a paste on the crispy skin just to soften it before serving?
