Was very easy starting my auto insurance policy at state farm they were very smart and friendly.
I have been pleased with this insurance agency as a whole. However, they do not keep the website updated. This website has been down since last week. I usually make my payments online. I called and left a message and my call was returned (promptly) I might add which was a plus and they offered to process it for me and mail me my receipt. However, That may be fine for them, but I am not keen on giving personal information over the phone and also not keen on depending on getting a receipt in the mail, especially with the posta... read more

I can't say enough about the positive experience we've had with State Farm in Waterville, Maine. After being with the same insurance company, in Skowhegan, ME for almost 40 years, they dropped the ball, leaving me uninsured on my home. I called State Farm and had a homeowners policy within an hour. I asked for a vehicle quote at the same time, and they were almost $1000 less than the company I'd been with for almost 4 decades. Good luck getting your refund back when you switch insurance agencies because of how they expensive they are. Been with Micheal Lee over 4 years. You’re better off going across the river to Darrell. They have sent my refund check to the wrong address twice now and it’s been 5 months and counting.
