Dr. Steckman kept asking me if I wanted a cat scan. I have persistent and worsening stomach pain and was told that I should get an upper endoscopy by another doctor. After awhile he suggested that he believed that it was all anxiety and “couldn’t I just take a nerve pill”. He also suggested that that my inflammation wasn’t going to kill me since it’s been going on so long. So it seems that he’s not going to take a look because it’s all in my head. Recommended by my primary care doc (who uses him himself). Had a colonoscopy. Office provided complete info on prep procedures, Dr Steckman saw me at initial visit and explained procedure. When I arrive for procedure everything went smoothly and without incident. I remember nothing because I was under. I will use Dr. Steckman from now on.
