I had a colonoscopy procedure yesterday by Dr Michael Mlecko. He explained the procedure, medicated me & performed the procedure.. I felt no pain or discomfort. Dr. Mlecko visited me while I was in the recovery area & reassured me that all went well. Dr. Mlecko has performed a colonoscopy on me in the past & when needed, I will trust him to do it again. It was refreshing to have a physician that was early to perform this procedure. His staff were super friendly & knowledgeable.
1. Did not ask what my symptoms were - immediately starting on about how women dont eat correctly. 2. When I told him my symptoms and what was bothering me, his response was that my "complaints" (not symptoms) are that of an ageing woman who needs to accept that and that he hears the same complaints from his wife every day. 3. Mid conversation asked me to follow him and sit in the second chair. When i got there I realized it was the check out and he had ended out visit without any conclusion or even saying good bye.
Great doctor that I have been seeing for 10+ years. Very accomplished, thorough and personable. Even called me personally with test results!
Let's see. Has a rather contentious meeting with Mlecko today. I feel good and my medicine is working but Dr. Mlecko keeps pushing a colonoscopy that I don't want. Then I find out him and his staff lied to my face regarding no show appointments that I allegedly did in 2015 and 2016. Funny thing is I never no showed and they never told me or billed me for the no shows. This guy makes you feel more like a customer than a patient.
Dr. Mlecko performed my first colonoscopy last week. It all went smoothly. What I was most impressed about was that he himself called me, within days of the procedure, to give me the biopsy results. Most practices have the nurse call and they can never answer any of your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Mlecko.
Dr. Mlecko has been my Gastroenterologist for many years. His calm approach has enabled me to relax during any procedure I have had. Dr. Mlecko is board certified and extremely knowledgeable within his medical field and his talents in that regard are superb. I highly recommend him to anyone requiring a physician proficient in gastroenterology.
Once I got the appointment, this group was excellent!
