I have just received Dr. Walker's letter announcing his retirement as of 12/31/25. Mainline Healthcare and Thoracic Surgery Department will bear a major loss with Dr. Walker's leaving. As a most grateful patient of Dr. Walker, I wish to publically acknowledge my first hand experience with his extraordinary compassionate presence, and his outstanding professional skill, knowledge and wisdom. Dr. Walker is one of the most compassionate, caring doctors i have ever had the pleasure of being my doctor. He gave me confidence to fight my lung cancer which included removal of 1 of my loves. His staff is as wonderful as he is. I'm so happy for him that he is retiring but, it's a great loss to me personally and I'm sure his other patients will agree.
