I had back surgery 8 years ago after I had met with Dr Kinsman several times. He patiently addressed all my concerns before I agreed to the surgery. 8 months post surgery I was water skiing which was my goal (I was 67 at the time). He will not do surgery unless he feels it necessary, and I appreciate that. I personally feel he is a top notch surgeon and would recommend him highly. I will say this....you have to follow his instructions and do what he tells you so you heal properly.

Had back surgery and was in so much pain after and he wouldnt change painkillers. Never recieved my meds on time, and they were responsible for my blood clots after surgery, they wouldnt put the leg massager on my legs to get the blood flowing while not being avle to move. They wouldnt help me get out of bed, my wife had to take care of me.They literally tried to kill me, not a fan of KU or the doctors and staff.
I called with a question for Dr Kinsman a week before my surgery. My simple question was should i stay with Nevro implant or go with another manufacturer. The day of surgery he came to see me & went off on me on how dare I question him, yelling at me. Then after surgery, he went to talk with my husband & he yelled at him for my question. Dr. Kinsman, I appreciated your consultation very much on October 2, 2023.... At that time, you stated a referral to Dr. Lamb would be the next logical step for treatment... I have since had three phone calls with your office regarding the referral... The first call was from Crystal... She stated that an additional referral was required, she would work on it and call me back... She never did...
