I don't normally do reviews but felt compelled to share our experience with Michael J. Higgins Funeral Services during the loss of my father. Ronnie and Gerard were so easy work with during such an emotional time for my family. They were compassionate, patient and attentive to all of our needs. They went above and beyond with making sure every detail was absolutely perfect for my Dad while comforting us in our time of sorrow. I'd highly recommend Ronnie and Gerard at Higgins Funeral Home should the need arise.

My impression has gone down two stars. No problems whatsoever with my experience EXCEPT with payment. First, when my Dad passed in early September, they were not able to process my Mom’s Discover card for some reason. It was the only option we had at the time, as Higgins would not accept insurance. The card was processed with no problem, the day of the service at a nearby restaurant. This upset my mother tremendously. Then, when my Mom passed in late October, I paid with a check. Everything from beginning to end was handled beautifully. I had no problems or concerns at all. I would highly recommend Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home for your loved one. Every one of those men were professional but very kind and compassionate.
