Would leave zero starts if possible. Dr. Brubaker Was very rude to my mother and did not even let us finish telling him about how much pain she was in, despite her limping in pain when she went to see him. We will not be back to see him. Stay away.
I've gone to Dr. Brubaker for about 4 years. I have mixed feelings about him. On one hand he does seem to listen to me when I have issues, never seems rushed and is always kind and pleasant. He has prescribed my daily meds without fail. He treats me for adult ADHD and anxiety, prescribes meds to help with my pain (no opioids!) And keeps a close eye on my blood pressure, which is either high or low. The bad thing is I agree with what someone said about him not giving referrals. His bedside manner may not be the most flattering, but he diagnosed my condition of De Quervain's Tenosynovitis quickly and accurately, and prescribed the appropriate treatment. He sees my stepson for ADD as well, does a good job of communicating with him and prescribing him the appropriate medication and dosage. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about.
Refused to give a patient any meds, testing or treatment that is having continuous GI issues. Refuses to do referrals. He is a pathetic excuse of a physician and needs to do the public a service by retiring.
He put me on an amphetamine based medication and it screwed me up. It has taken months to get over and still have issues now and then. I was fine before seeing him. Stay away from this guy.
