Learning you need open heart surgery is so scary. But I wish every person and their family that has to deal with the scare of needing open heart surgery, could experience the care, professionalism, kindness, expertise and comfort that we experienced. Dr. Bates is nothing short of a God send. Every single appointment was the most comforting. His calmness, genuine concern, and expertise gave us so much peace.
